Hengifoss is the third highest waterfall in Iceland. To get there you have to walk about one hour and half, but the effort is totally worth it. The colours are really beautuful, with basaltic strata and red layers of clay between them. With this picture I wanted to emphasize the geometry and the colours of the layers, besides the waterfall itself. Seems like I'm just in the middle of the water stream but actually the river turns to the right. by riclombardi Landscapes via 500px http://ift.tt/1qbYip1
